Bloggers.com – Now A Blog Writers Community

 

The old bloggers.com that offers pinging services no longer do that. They are moving to be a social networking site for bloggers. Bloggers.com is now a bloggers community site where you share ideas, interests and blog urls. They are becoming more interested in the Web2.0 niche.

While I used their pinging service in the past with pingomatic, they were great. I think their new niche is good and the site is user friendly but I have actually experienced some difficulty with the way the site was programmed. Can’t really say if it is my connection problem or their website problem.

But all the same, you can join them to build the bloggers community they want to build. You can join them even if you are not a blogger (i.e. if you do not own a blog). While their site is still at the foundation level, I foresee a great community emerging through this means and I hope they will maintain the tempo when it gets more demanding.
